Al Rayhan Eye Hospital & College of Health Sciences is the first exclusive eye hospital in Areekode, Malappuram District, Kerala, and is the sixth branch of the Rayhan Eye Hospitals group in India. It was inaugurated on 10th September 2023 under the chairmanship of Dr. T.K. Salahudheen, MS. Apart from being the chairman of the Rayhan Group, he is also our Group Medical Director with over 26 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology. He has received training in the latest microsurgeries, and under his guidance, his team of doctors and staff are dedicated to moving towards excellence in eye care.
The Al Rayhan Eye Hospital & College of Health Science in Areekode, Kerala, was established to provide comprehensive eye care at affordable costs to people from all walks of life. Started in 2013, Al Rayhan Hospitals in Kondoty have grown to be one of the best eye care centers in the Malabar region. This success led its management to venture into opening a modern state-of-the-art eye hospital and optometry college in Areekode with several unique features, adhering to accepted world standards of ophthalmic care.
The hospital was incorporated as a joint venture of Rayhan Eye Hospital & Lasik Centre, Edappal, and the CH Memorial Hospital, Valanchery. It is a full-fledged hospital with several modern eye diagnostic facilities and automated equipment for accurate and quick results. The hospital has a modern Phaco Surgical unit, a Department of Retinal Laser treatment, a Department of Optics & Lenses, a Department of Glaucoma, and a Department of Health Sciences & Eye education for patient care. Additionally, the hospital provides comprehensive surgical treatment and inpatient facilities for the treatment of eye complications.
